1. Prezentowane współczynniki obliczeniowe odnoszą się do uszczelki o wymiarze R20.
2. Wykonane za ich pomocą obliczenia wg algorytmów EN 1591-1:2013 i :2009 dają przybliżone wyniki. Ze względu na specyfikę tej uszczelki, norma / algorytm EN 1591-1 wymaga modyfikacji metody obliczeniowej. Siła zacisku bardzo silnie zależy od pola powierzchni styku przylgi z uszczelką.
3. Współczynniki obliczeniwe wyznaczone sa dla poddanych naciskowi pól równym rzutowi geometrii pierścienia uszczelki na powierzchnię prostopadłą do  osi uszczelki.
